- Prior experience as a Wintel Administrator, or in a similar technical support role, is desirable but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of Windows server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2016, 2019).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) are a plus.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and associated hardware.
- Perform routine server checks, apply updates, and conduct system health assessments.
- Monitor server performance and respond to alerts, taking appropriate actions to resolve issues.
- Support system security measures, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards.
Assist in applying security patches and updates to mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
